Danny Marvan Managing Director

As the Managing Director and Owner, Danny holds a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and developing the work that Marvan’s produce and the projects they work on. From an early age Danny helped maintain family and friends gardens in his local town of Harwich. This planted a true love and real enthusiasm that grew into the established business he now runs today. With a friendly and approachable manner, a passion for community, and a love for his work, Danny and the team at Marvan’s are the right people for your job, whether it's domestic or commercial.

Sue Heath HR & Health & Safety Manager

Sue is an expert in all things HR and Health & Safety. Sue says that being a part of the strategic team is a privilege, as is to watch and be involved in Marvan's growth from small seeds to big acorns! She thinks it is simply wonderful to play a strategic part in a team that strives to give only the very best customer experience and always going that extra mile to ensure it. She is honoured to be a part of the Marvan's Magic!

Brian Hopgood Maintenance and Repair Workshop Manager / Yard Supervisor

Brian is simply epic! If its broken he can mend it, if its not running, he'll sort it! He is our new Workshop Manager and Yard Coordinator. Basically he is Danny’s new play thing and invaluable within the Marvan's family. With years of experience he is our go to man! He loves fishing and usually has something on the workbench 'under repair'.

Ness Streete Head of Engagement

Ness has a Facilities Management, Security, and Social Media Management background, making her perfect for the role of Head of Engagement. Ness is the go-to person for all things to organise within the company and she liaises with our clients, both commercial and domestic too on projects of all sizes. She is obsessed with clean vans and PPE!

Martin Woodman Grounds Maintenance

Martin is extremely customer focused and ensures that your outside space, regardless of whether you are a business or an individual, is to the standard you deserve. He will always go out of his way to help regardless of whether it is within his job description. Martin loves his job and that is evident in his work. He is extremely popular with customer and staff alike. Martin loves a bit of PPE, be it for work or his love of the Himalayas.

Harley H. Donaghy PTS Fencing Operative

Harley is our in-house fitness instructor. Health & Fitness is where his passions lay, so there is nothing better in his eyes than being out there in the great outdoors getting physical, no matter the weather. A sociable chap. Harley is friendly and personable with a 'can  do attitude'.

Jake Vincent Grounds Maintenance Operative

Prior to joining the Marvan's Family, Jake was a chef at Jimmy's Farm. But with a love for all things outdoors including camping, paddle boarding and rugby Jake was always going to cook up a career in Landscaping. He and his partner have two spoilt dogs and are expecting their first baby later in 2021.

Matt Mcelroy Grounds Maintenance Operative

Matt studied horticulture at Writtle College and passed his exams in 2021 with distinction. Enthusiastic and a good fit with the team, we have every confidence in this young man's abilities on the landscaping and grounds maintenance teams. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he's usually one of the first to arrive, and the last to leave.

Harrison Hunt Labourer

Harrison is a dedicated long-serving Labourer for Marvan's, working around college and on the weekends. He has found a new passion for landscaping and aspires to be one of the very best himself in the future. He is fit to face any challenge that the various projects afford and thrives on the energy that the team at Marvan's provide.

Callum Boyne PTS Fencing Operative

A family man with two little ones, Callum used to work on the railways. He is an avid footballer and football fan. For someone who works outside with nature, Callum hates spiders and doesn't take kindly to them getting too close. Sociable and hard working, Callum is a perfect fit for the team.

Anthony Hayes Senior PTS Arborist / Tree Climber

Originally from East London, Ant now resides in Little Clacton. He's engaged to be married in 2021 to the love of his life and together they have five children. Ant knew from a young age that he wanted to work outdoors and trained with The National Trust, then went back to London and worked for almost every major authority over the years, in and around the Eastern Counties. He understands well that even now every day is a school day and every tree is different, posing different problems to which he finds the solutions. His hobbies include motorbikes, cycling, fishing and almost every other outdoor activity. "Its great to be outdoors, it’s one of the reasons why I love what I do for a living"

Joe Tallis-Dent Groundsman / PTS Rail Climber

Joe has not been with us long, but has hit the ground running. Currently a groundsman his aspirations are to become a fully qualified PTS Rail Climber and Tree Surgeon and he is due to complete his tickets very soon. Young and enthusiastic, Joe loves getting mucky, which is handy as he's usually up to his boots in mud.
